Your Private Support Can Make a Difference
At Penn State Behrend

Since its creation in 1948, Penn State Behrend has focused on serving the tri-state region. Strategic and campus development plans, created in collaboration with business and community partners, have advanced the college's mission of excellence in teaching, research, and outreach. Today, students can choose from thirty-one baccalaureate degree majors, six associate degree programs, a Master of Business Administration degree, and a Master of Project Management degree.

As a land grant and research university, Penn State Behrend has played a unique role in advancing the region's economic and social welfare. Students and faculty advance the college's mission by participating regularly in applied research and service projects. A most recent addition is Knowledge Park at Penn State Erie, a 200-acre site that is home to knowledge-based organizations which benefit from the park's superior technology and Penn State's strengths in applied research and technology transfer.

Grateful for the support and success of the past, Penn State Behrend seeks to create new opportunities for its students and the region. The college has long depended on great faculty and great friends to serve the community, beginning with the remarkable legacy of Mary Behrend in 1948, when she donated her family's Glenhill estate to Penn State. We now seek the great friends and great alumni of this generation to demonstrate the true spirit of Penn State Behrend by investing in the college and our students.
