Mechanical Engineering: Research Opportunities
At Penn State Behrend, faculty members are expected to be both recognized researchers and excellent teachers.
Faculty members in mechanical engineering contribute to the state-of-the-art in their respective fields, and they regularly publish research findings in nationally recognized, peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
We offer
undergraduate students the opportunity to participate in research
projects. Our faculty members include undergraduate students in their
research projects, and they seek out talented students. Students can get
academic credit for working with faculty on research, and can also
receive
partial financial support from the Behrend College Undergraduate
Research
Programs (see
Undergrad Research Opportunities
for more details).
