Courses in the International Studies minor educate students in the problems of the modern world (1490 to the present). Supporting courses in the program have an international, comparative, and/or multicultural focus. Courses that examine issues of race, ethnicity and cultural diversity within one country by placing them in an international and/or comparative context are also an important component of the program.
