Behrend Bands
The concert band rehearses twice weekly, and presents at least one concert performance each semester. The ensemble explores literature of high musical quality from all periods, styles, and artistic levels. Auditions are held during the first week of each semester for diagnostic purposes. The concert band uses a rotational seating system, and is open for participation to all students.

JAZZ ENSEMBLE
The Jazz Ensemble is a big band in the classic jazz style. The group rehearses twice weekly and performs one concert per semester. Traditional and contemporary jazz forms the nucleus of the ensemble's repertoire, providing students with an energetic and enjoyable musical experience. Auditions are held during the first week of each semester.

Rehearsal: Tuesday and Thursday, 4:00-5:15 p.m.
The pep band is a musical support group for
Penn State Eries athletics. Rehearsals begin midway into the fall
semester and conclude midway through the spring semester. Performances
take place at all home games of the men's and women's basketball
teams. Students who wish to participate in pep band should plan to
register for ensemble credit during both semesters of the academic
year.
