Newman Association
The Newman Association
is the Catholic Student Organization of Penn State Behrend.
We engage in service and social activities in an effort
to help fulfill the mission of Catholic Campus Ministry.
Officers are elected to a one year term. They meet twice
each semester to plan programs and activities for the
semester.
Adopt a Family:
At Thanksgiving and Easter, Newman students are asked
to donate money to provide a meal for a needy family
in the area.
Sunday Socials:
After mass once a month, Newman sponsors a social for
members.
Fall/Spring Picnic:
Newman sponsors a fall and spring picnic for all Newman
members. It is usually scheduled before the Sunday evening
service.
