Behrend Water Polo Members Make All-Tournament Teams
After a great weekend of water polo that saw Johns Hopkins University capture their second straight Division III Eastern Championship, the league released their annual Eastern All-Tournament team selections. Three members of the Behrend squad made the very competitive list of players.
The all-tournament first-team included sophomore Andre Pranckevicius (Miami, FL/Miami Beach), who finished the tournament with four goals on 23 shots. Pranckevicius also added seven steals and drew eight kickouts.
The all-tournament second-team had two Behrend members, sophomore Anthony Spoto (Birmingham, MI/Birmingham), and junior goalie Leandro Azevedo (Miami, FL/Miami Beach). Spoto had a team high 12 goals on 25 shots, with 11 drawn kickouts. Leandro had 24 saves throughout the tourney and also contributed four steals and two assists.
