*Prescribed courses within Nursing major (minimum grade of C is required)

To be enrolled in clinical courses, nursing students must first:

  • Successfully pass entrance and annual health examinations
  • Show evidence of all required immunization records, boosters, and other health tests requested
  • Finalize semester enrollment including tuition payments
  • Obtain current cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification at the Basic Life Support (BLS) level
  • Have an approved nursing student uniform
  • Have liability insurance
  • Have proof of personal health insurance
  • Receive Pennsylvania Child Abuse History clearance
  • Complete Pennsylvania Criminal Record check
  • Complete a Federal Criminal Background check through an approved fingerprinting agency
  • Transportation to off-campus sites and all related expenses are the responsibility of the student.
