Profiles - Jo Anne Campbell
- What do you do?
I am the Chief Financial Officer for
GE Transportation Systems Business.
- How did you become interested
in this field?
Right out of college, I went into the
Finance Management Training Program
(FMP) for two years.
- How much education did you need
and what degrees?
I majored in economics and graduated
from St. Lawrence University in 1986.
I received my MBA from Notre Dame University
in 1996.
- What were your favorite school
subjects and activities?
I played a lot of sports. They helped
me develop leadership skills and encouraged
a competitive nature and team skills.
- What do you do at work everyday?
It's very diverse, busy, and challenging.
- How do you balance a family and
a career?
It's tough; time management is the key.
Schedule time away from work and whatever
else you do. Work hard, play hard and
defiantly have fun at what you do.
- What's the coolest thing about
your job?
I get to move every two years, so I
can travel around the world and work
in many cultures.
