CSP is one of several Academic Advancement Programs offered by the Office of the Vice Provost for Educational Equity.  Our goal is to help qualifying students enroll at Penn State and graduate with a degree in their chosen field.  We offer a variety of services to help students reach their goals.  Students who participate in the program can expect individual counseling and advising, training in study skills, close monitoring of their academic progress, tutoring and more.  Program participants can also expect to be challenged to achieve at the highest level of their ability.  In addition, the Comprehensive Studies Program offers students the opportunity to explore, in a caring and non-judgmental environment, all the situations they may encounter as young adults.  We try to meet each students needs at the level of the individual.  Stop in and give us the chance to serve you.  The information provided on this web site should help you through some of your first year problems and also help you in your later college years.

The Mission of the Comprehensive Studies Program is to provide academic and personal support for Penn State students who qualify for Pennsylvania's ACT 101 Educational Opportunity Program services.  Specific services include academic advising, tutoring, basic skills instruction, and personal and financial counseling.
