FastStart provides a faculty/staff mentor and an alumni mentor to each freshmen student participant. Faculty/staff mentors help connect you to the college. Alumni mentors share their Penn State Behrend experience, professional knowledge and expertise with you.

Students are given an orientation to the program during an introductory event at the beginning of the semester. All mentors also are invited to attend. Events are held throughout the semester to encourage student and mentor interaction.

Prospective Student
If you plan to be a freshman at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College campus during the 2008-2009 academic year and would like to take advantage of FastStart, request an application.
