Equity and Diversity Programs
Penn State Erie, The Behrend College is committed to promoting
diversity as an essential ingredient in its quest for greater
excellence. The Office of Educational Equity and Diversity Programs supports and
serves as an advocate for diverse populations within the college
community. In addition to addressing the specific concerns of
historically underrepresented racial/ethnic minorities, it also works
in support of students with disabilities, international students, LGBT
students, and women.
One of the main goals of the Office of Educational Equity & Diversity Programs is to create an environment that promotes respect for differences while fostering caring relationships and cross-cultural understanding and appreciation throughout the campus.
